Agreement

These Terms of Use govern the Southern Virtual Health website. Using the site means you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and HIPAA Notice, and, if you become a patient, the membership, financial, and arbitration agreements presented in the patient portal.

Services

Southern Virtual Health provides cash-pay telehealth for Alabama residents. We are committed to providing supportive telehealth weight management services and expanding access for our own community throughout Alabama. The website is not a medical visit and does not create a clinician-patient relationship.

Prescriptions

If a clinician decides a brand-name medication is appropriate, the prescription, if appropriate, is sent to the manufacturer (Eli Lilly / LillyDirect or Novo Nordisk / NovoCare). You purchase medication from the manufacturer. A prescription is never guaranteed.

Not emergency care

This site and these services are not emergency care. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate identity, residency, history, and lab information.
• Upload required documents and keep your portal information current.
• Follow visit instructions and disclose other medications and conditions.
• Use medications only as prescribed and store them as directed.

To the fullest extent permitted by Alabama law, SVH and its clinicians and staff are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or services. Some limitations may not apply where prohibited.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. See also the Arbitration Agreement.
