Southern Virtual Health is an Alabama-based telehealth weight-loss clinic for Alabama residents only. Care is managed by Alabama physicians, nurse practitioners (CRNPs), and staff who practice here — not a national chain and not an out-of-state call center. Brand-name medication only. No compounding. No insurance billing.
Membership $175/month. Medication is paid separately to LillyDirect® or NovoCare® at the manufacturer’s cash price. Prices change; confirm at checkout.

The model
Alabama clinicians only
Care is managed by Alabama-licensed physicians, nurse practitioners (CRNPs), and Alabama staff. No out-of-state call center.
Monthly cash-pay membership
$175 per month. Visits at month 1 and month 2, then every 3 months. Education and support continue between visits. Extra visits, dietitian support, and pharmacist support are optional and priced on inquiry. We do not bill insurance.
Cash-pay prescription
If medication is appropriate, we send the prescription to LillyDirect (Eli Lilly) or NovoCare (Novo Nordisk). You complete manufacturer checkout. The medication is mailed to your Alabama home.
Alabama residents only
You must live in Alabama, plan to stay in Alabama for treatment, and be physically in Alabama at each visit.
How it works
Most people finish screening in under 5 minutes. Portal documents and labs come next, before the first visit. You must be in Alabama for every visit.

Check eligibility
Answer a short series of questions. You must meet every criterion to continue. This screens for program fit. It is not a medical visit and does not guarantee a prescription.

Complete onboarding
After you pass screening, enter your first name, last initial, and email. You will get a secure link to create your patient portal account. Then complete the pre-visit checklist:
- Photo ID
- Proof of Alabama residency
- Labs from the last 90 days, or download the SVH lab order in the portal and take it to a local lab
- Remaining intake forms
- Pay the $175 monthly membership and schedule your first visit

Start care
If medication is appropriate, the prescription is sent to the manufacturer. You purchase Zepbound®, Foundayo™, or Wegovy® from them, and it ships to your home. Your Alabama care team stays with you. Optional dietitian and pharmacist support is available by inquiry.
Passing screening and paying for the first month does not mean you are accepted as a patient or that medication will be prescribed. The first visit is a paid clinical evaluation.

Who should not start
Program requirements
This program is not a fit if you:
- Do not live in Alabama, will leave Alabama during treatment, or cannot be physically in Alabama at each visit
- Are under 18
- Have a BMI under 27
- Have a BMI of 27.0–29.9 and none of these weight-related conditions: high blood pressure; high cholesterol or triglycerides; type 2 diabetes; obstructive sleep apnea; or coronary artery disease, prior heart attack, or stroke
- Want compounded medication, or a guaranteed prescription before a clinician visit
Medical reasons a clinician usually will not prescribe
Do not start this program if you:
- Are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding
- Have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or MEN2
- Have had pancreatitis or a serious reaction to a GLP-1 medicine
- Have type 1 diabetes
- Have an active eating disorder, severe psychiatric illness, or severe kidney or liver disease
SVH is not emergency care. Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department for a medical emergency.
Passing screening does not mean you will be accepted as a patient or that medication will be prescribed. Eligibility is decided only after a licensed clinician reviews your history, labs, and visit.
